Resonance: The Heart of Singing is a new concert series by EVOKX that started in 2017. It ventures to create breath-taking musical moments for ourselves and our listeners, in realisation of our musical aspirations and a sense of adventure.

EVOKX presented Resonance Reimagined: A Prelude.
For our 10th year anniversary, we reimagine how we can create choral music together. Under the direction of our artistic director, Mr Terrence Toh, this digital project is a collaboration with various locally-based animators to create a line-up of choral works by local composers, celebrating the colours of Asian colours through a variety of artistic styles.

EVOKX presented the Singapore premiere of two major choral works with chamber orchestration and organ: David Hill’s masterful arrangement of Gabriel Faure's Requiem and Dan Forrest's inspirational Requiem for the Living.
It was an evening of musical and spiritual immersion as we journeyed through an artistic invocation of life’s heights and furrows.

EVOKX presented the first of this new concert series with an exciting collaboration with Vocalismo Choral Group (VCG) from the Philippines, helmed by esteemed conductor/composer Lester Delgado.
The programme built on the dynamism of Asia as a melting-pot bursting with distinct cultural identities. We presented works such as “Itsuki no Komori Uta” by Ko Matsushita, "Bengawan Solo" by Ken Steven, and “Kyrie Eleison” arranged by Lester Delgado. The second half of the concert was accompanied by the sounds and textures of a percussion ensemble, notably for the piece "Three Nocturnes” by acclaimed composer Dan Forrest.
